Mynetfair is the new trade fair platform run by Burda Direct Interactive and IFC Europe. The portal is a central database for materials, assembly sections, semi-finished goods, production processes, and distribution channels for consumer goods—pooling manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, and purchasers. The initial online offering is over 100,000 products by around 2,500 companies.

“Mynetfair is further proof of Burda Direct Interactive’s core competences,” says Managing Director Jürgen Siegloch. “Together with our partner, IFC Europe, we have created a state-of-the-art online portal which—thanks to the innovative use of visual elements and web 2.0 features—allows for a unique overview of the market.”

The platform’s main goal is to give all participants at the various stages of production—from raw materials to finished goods—as well as all service providers fair access to the market, a completely new approach in this field. “Each product has its own history,” says IFC Europe’s Rüdiger Gollücke, Managing Director of the new platform. “Mynetfair supports the process of creative product development. So what belongs together is brought together.”

The new endeavor also sets standards in terms of climate and environmental protection: By establishing a closer connection among market participants on the internet, freight and passenger traffic is reduced sustainably. In addition, Mynetfair sponsors environmental protection projects set up by international environmental organizations.
