In 2007, Hubert Burda Media and its partners published 262 magazines worldwide, thereof 74 in Germany and 188 abroad. The fierce competition for new market share continued in 2007. Nevertheless, through the continuous development and improvement of magazines, products and services, Hubert Burda Media succeeded in increasing external sales of the domestic and foreign publishing houses by 3.9 per cent, from € 1,044.0m (2006) to € 1,084.6m (2007).

As shown by the media analysis 2008/I, Hubert Burda Media again reached 80.4 per cent of the German population aged 14 years or older in the last fiscal year. This solid position on the reader’s market shows the significance of the Hubert Burda Media magazine brands.
