“Media is people business” – and in line with this clear principle first enunciated by publisher Dr Hubert Burda, Hubert Burda Media invests both in acquiring fresh new talent and further training of existing in-house experts. Specialists skills and management strategies are taught in a host of different courses and particularly motivated employees are given the opportunity to further develop their know-how through various support programmes.

Hubert Burda Media also welcomes talented young people into its fold. The training possibilities on offer cover all of the traditional publishing professions: from printing to advertising, management, sales, the new media and journalism. Work experience at the Burda College of Journalism and via the Burda trainee programme are two of the best routes into the firm. Our internships give participants the chance to gain an early insight into work with an international media group.
