Steven Spielberg set up the Shoah Foundation, the world’s largest collection of Holocaust testimonies, to make sure we never forget. Hubert Burda Media supports this project and has developed educational materials together with Axel Springer AG and Bertelsmann AG used to teach adolescents about the Holocaust.

As part of this project, a CD-ROM has been released entitled “Remembering for the present and the future – Holocaust survivors tell their stories”. This documentation focuses first and foremost on the tales of two Jewish survivors Irmgard Konrad and Hans Frankenthal. The history of persecution under the National Socialist regime and the Holocaust itself are portrayed through their life experiences.
