The Burda Academy for the Third Millennium is a forum for researchers, thinkers and visionaries from the most varied of disciplines and walks of life which considers what the world of tomorrow will look like. It brings experts together in international conferences, debates, lectures and publications and hosts multidisciplinary discussions on key issues of today and tomorrow.

Since 1994, more than 240 speakers have taken part in this interdisciplinary exchange surrounding the stakes of tomorrow’s world, including well-known figures such as Antonio Damasio, Esther Dyson, Irenäus Eibl-Eibesfeld, Dietrich Grönemeyer, Norman Foster, Julian Nida-Rümelin, Wolf Singer, Peter Sloterdijk, Wim Wenders and Ernst-Ludwig Winnacker.
