6 months in your own division: The focus is on introductory training and getting to know the company
6 months spent in interface areas/positions (2-3 rounds): Build up your internal network and acquire a broader professional outlook
6 months back in your own division: In the last six months, you apply what you’ve learnt to your own field and improve your competences. The trainees are prepared for their next position.
You will be supported by a personal mentor for the entire 18 months, receive regular feedback as part of feedback discussions and benefit from comprehensive trainee seminars, individual training programs and networking events (such as fireside chat evenings and tours of Burda’s divisions)
Requirements:
Subject to the specific trainee position advertised
Completed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant courses and first practical experience (such as internships or student positions) in the area concerned
Selection process:
The trainee positions are advertised by the divisions as required. There are no fixed recruiting periods. For current job ads, see our job offers
The first round of selection takes place after the application documents have been examined
The next step is a telephone interview with the applicant
After the telephone interview, the most suitable applicants are invited to a one-day assessment center
After the applicant has been offered the job, the date of entry is agreed with the division
