If you have recently earned your higher education entrance qualification or advanced technical certificate, we have an opportunity for you to combine academic knowledge with excellent vocational training. In collaboration with Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), we offer dual Bachelor’s study programs in many different subjects from the fields of media, traditional business studies and information studies.
We are looking for people who are passionate about media, economic contexts and digital trends and focus on customer needs. If you’re a true team player who wants to advance your own ideas, tackle new challenges and study new things, then Burda is the place for you. We encourage and help our new starters to develop right from the outset so that they can enjoy long-term prospects with our company.
The dual study program usually alternates between three-month theory phases at the university and three-month practical phases at Burda. Examinations take place at the end of the theory phases. Two of the six practical phases include project work. The Bachelor’s thesis is completed in the final or penultimate practical phase. The study program ends after three years with oral examinations at the university. Regular study content is complemented by fascinating seminars and training sessions. Through a range of projects, our students also have the opportunity to network and play an active role in Burda’s development.
Study programs are advertised from September/October each year and commence the following year on 1 October. The location, start date and application deadline are listed on our jobs page.
I work in Offenburg, managing vacancies for young professionals. Whether you’re applying for an apprenticeship in electronics engineering or an internship in marketing to provide your first professional experience, the main thing I look for is motivation. What makes the perfect workday? Finding the right person for a job and chatting with my colleagues, ideally over lunch in the cafeteria.
