You work on the further development and optimization of our digital publications such as InStyle.de , Esquire.de , Elle.de , harpersbazaar.de and freundin.de and have influence on the user experience
You develop the frontend of a modern technology stack: Head is based on React / GraphQL / Node.js / NextJS combined with a Headless CMS based on Drupal 8. Codebase is in strict Typescript and was heavily refactored last year with best practices and a more functional approach
You will develop concepts for new features and optimizations with the product management team
You will implement new features together with an agile development team
You monitor and improve the performance of our websites to get the best user experience
You will share your knowledge and experience with colleagues or other developers
What we would expect from you...
Previous studies in computer science or in related fields (statistics/mathematics/business informatics etc.) or corresponding professional experience or further training
First experience in developing web applications, ideally in a similar role
Excellent knowledge in JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS 3
Experience with React & Node.js would be nice-to-have
Profound knowledge with Git and Jira
Strong communication skills and you like to work in agile teams
