Test, iterate and build the retail media business for Burda and its e-commerce (e.g., Cyberport, Cocolita, Holidaycheck, etc.) and publisher (e.g., Focus, Chip, etc.) sites:
Have the full start-up experience but with the benefits of an established media corporation
Form and test hypotheses and make strategic recommendations to management based on performance analytics, user and market research
Develop retail media products that find a market and complement the existing business
Plan and execute market entry
Scale operations for a continuous and growing business
Lead cross-functional and cross-company project teams
Work directly with profit centers across geographies and leading external experts

What we would expect from you...

Passion for the combination of commerce and advertising
Proven hands-on building mentality, having built a (retail media) business in a related market
Deep knowledge of both e-commerce and (digital) advertising
Experience in iterative fast-paced product development
Proven record of leadership within a cross-functional team
A clear aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem solving and comfort conducting quantitative analysis
Outstanding listening skills and experience working in a collaborative approach
Strong independence and will to shape own work with limited guidance
Outstanding records of academic and professional achievement
5+ years of professional experience
Master's degree; advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) is a plus, Ad-tech know-how a nice to have
