What you can expect from us...

We are seeking a skilled Senior App Developer (m/f/x) to build a mobile application. Join our interdisciplinary team consisting of product managers, designers, developers and editors to build a new exciting product to give our users in the Focus Online ecosystem the good feeling of being informed.

Play a key role from day one in the development of building a transformative mobile application from scratch for Focus Online
Drive and align the technical foundation and infrastructure within the transformative BurdaForward ecosystem
Engineer and design software components in close collaboration with UX, Design, Product Management and of course your co-developers in a cross-functional team
Own the technical implementation of the product to ensure stability, performance and connect the app to other systems inside BurdaForward
Encounter exciting work and interesting challenges to solve along the way
Have fun with lots of experiments, such as A/B tests, to build products that users love
Stability and performance are the basis of our products

What we would expect from you...

Strong knowledge in the development of hybrid apps using Flutter
Confident, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to shape and develop a transformative mobile product
You like to take responsibility and commitment for the products and services you are developing
Ability to use your expertise to drive technical decision making
Strong team player who loves to collaborate, e.g., supporting product managers and designers in implementing tests to improve the product for users
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to overcome challenges
Enthusiastic about experimenting with new technologies and tools, using the mindset: fail fast, learn faster
Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment across multiple locations
