BurdaStyle is the largest German media company in the lifestyle, fashion, beauty and entertainment sector and bundles exclusive media brands such as the luxury titles Elle, Instyle, Harper's Bazaar and Esquire, as well as the premium titles Bunte and Freundin. BurdaStyle's offerings reach more than seven million readers and around eleven million users online each month. In the social networks, the brands have around five million fans and followers.


BurdaStyle's brands are presented as magazines, on online portals, via social media, mobile devices and in moving pictures. Licensed products and events, such as the Bunte New Faces Awards, the Bunte Festival Night and fashion cocktails during the international fashion weeks, complement the brands' universes. With innovative concepts, such as the Bunte Beauty Days, the Instyle Lounge and the Freundin-Auszeit, the brands are expanding their product portfolio and thus, open up new sources of revenue.

Manuela Kampp-Wirtz launched her career in 1995 with the media publishing company MVG Medienverlagsgesellschaft. She then worked for Condé Nast as Advertising Director for Vogue until 2005. She made her Burda début as Head of Sales & Marketing for brands such as Bunte, InStyle and StarnetOne. After returning to Condé Nast as publisher of Vogue, Glamour and Myself, she came back to Burda in 2012 as managing director of BurdaStyle.
