Germany’s biggest audience award

Goldene Henne is Germany’s biggest audience award and has been presented since 1995. It was named in honour of Berlin entertainer Helga “Henne” Hahnemann, who passed away in 1991. Super Illu magazine and broadcasters MDR and rbb use this coveted award to honour the year’s most popular stars.

In addition to the Entertainment, Acting, Music and Sport categories, which are decided by the public, the Goldene Henne also has jury awards for categories such as Politics, Charity and Lifetime Achievement.
