Networking in Berlin: In the wonderful setting of the Kronprinzenpalais, Burda gathered numerous prominent personalities from politics, business, media and society on Tuesday evening for the summer reception. More than 700 guests exchanged views on current topics and enjoyed a mild summer evening. Following the invitations from CEO Paul-Bernhard Kallen and board member Philipp Welte several federal ministers, influential c-suite executives, well-known personalities from film and television and media people gathered for the event. Guests included Ursula von der Leyen, Federal Minister of Defence; Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn, Federal Minister of Agriculture Julia Klöckner, gouvernment press secretary Steffen Seibert, journalist Jakob Augstein, "Welt" editor Stefan Aust, actors Jannis Niewöhner and Kostja Ullmann, actress Anna Maria Mühe, TV cook Sarah Wiener and designer Michael Michalsky.
For Hubert Burda Media Berlin is a location for innovation and the headquarters of numerous brands: In addition to the editorial teams of news magazines Focus, Super Illu and Guter Rat, the people magazine Bunte is represented here and the content marketing agency C3 is also based in the German capital. In addition, the teams of the neighborhood network nebenan.de, the fashion platform Showroom and the e-health provider Patientus, are shaping Berlin’s digital scene. Around 600 people are working for Hubert Burda Media here in total.
