Where our People are concerned, Education and the acquisition of expertise are the keys to successful sustainability management at Burda. This entails an in-house learning program and measures and empowering our employees to take decisions that promote environmental and climate protection – in their everyday work and at home. Education is also at the heart of our carbon compensation strategy.

Internal improvements via education

We firmly believe that our campaign for ecological sustainability can only be successful if we transparently involve all the stakeholders – first and foremost our employees. We want to engage them in the transition process, provide the necessary knowledge and create an awareness that enables every single one of them to make an important contribution to their immediate surroundings. In addition to providing regular information on its corporate program, Burda systematically uses its wide-ranging internal expertise and partnerships with external experts to train employees on aspects of environmental sustainability.
