The Burda DLD Nightcap has never seen anything like this before: green trees instead of metres of snow. This year, for the first time, Burda's traditional kick-off event in Davos as part of the World Economic Forum (WEF) took place in spring and not, as usual, in the depths of winter in the Swiss Alps, after the event had to be cancelled at the beginning of this year and in 2021 due to Corona. Around 300 guests accepted the invitation of DLD founder Steffi Czerny, DLD Chairman Yossi Vardi and Burda CEO Martin Weiss to the Steigenberger Belvédère Hotel. Publisher's son Jacob Burda and Burda board members Katharina Herrmann and Philipp Welte also took the opportunity to welcome the guests in person.
Two days after DLD Munich 22, which took place from 20 to 22 May in Munich, influential personalities from all over the world gathered at the Burda DLD Nightcap. This year, they included investor Jeffrey Rosen, Stefan von Holtzbrinck (Holtzbrinck Publishing Group), Audi board member Hildegard Wortmann, Wolfgang Ischinger (Munich Security Conference), Christian Sewing (Deutsche Bank), Silvana Koch-Mehrin (Women Political Leaders), Jim Hagemann Snabe (Siemens), Audi board member Hildegard Wortmann and many more.
As every year, the London "LiquidChefs" served cocktails accompanied by Florian Riedl and his band.
