DLD invites influential and prominent personalities to Davos for the crowning finale of DLD Munich 25.
With DLD Campus, DLD founder Steffi Czerny is taking Europe’s most successful innovation conference to German universities outside the major cities for the first time. The focus is on bringing together the international DLD community with regional entrepreneurs, politicians and students. This new conference format starts on June 21, 2017, at the University of Bayreuth with around 500 participants. The new DLD Campus conference series is set to include several events throughout the year.
“Discussions of digital transformation, innovation and new business models must not end at our city limits or be confined to established companies. It is important to include regional industry and politics in the discourse too and to learn from successful medium-sized companies. I am therefore delighted to invite attendees to the DLD Campus première in Bayreuth together with Professor Stefan Leible, President of the University of Bayreuth!“
Steffi Czerny, founder of DLD
The new format
Czerny’s DLD team is used to working with universities: The January conference at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich already includes a successful series of talks for students – also entitled DLD Campus – with a different DLD speaker each year. The high level of interest in this event series has led to this new, one-day DLD Campus conference format at a German university, which trains the spotlight on regions outside the major cities.
Premiere in Bayreuth
At the first DLD Campus in Bayreuth, topics discussed will include the digital potential in the region’s research and industry. Local representatives from business, politics and science will be joined by top international speakers from the DLD network for panel discussions and talks.
