A legendary German media brand is returning to media reality: BAMBI will be the event of the media year 2023 in Munich on November 16, 2023. Hubert Burda Media has decided to use the 75th anniversary of BAMBI as an opportunity to award Germany's most important media prize again after a four-year break due to the Covid and economic crises.
Since 1948, BAMBI has honoured personalities who have had a special impact on Germany, who have achieved outstanding things and who are role models for the German people. The award is very well known in Germany, the last award ceremony before Covid came to a reach of about 7 billion gross contacts. This year, the BAMBI awards will be presented in an expected twelve categories on November 16, 2023, from the Bavaria Film Studios. BAMBI's media partner is the Seven.One Entertainment Group.

Around 800 invited guests from many areas of society are expected to attend the awards ceremony on November 16. The return of the media event to Munich, one of the most important and strongest media locations in Germany, is supported by the partner initiative Medien.Bayern.
