The sewing and handicrafts brand Burda Style is now launching the DIY Christmas campaign “mit Liebe genäht (English: "Sewn With Love") together with Burda's neighbourhood platform Nebenan.de.
The internationally operating business unit Burda Create! acquires the license for the monthly sewing magazine Fashion Style that provides detailed instructions and tips for about 30 different sewing designs on 84 pages. The first issue licensed by Burda will be available in stores from April 22 at €6.90.
Fashion Style covers a wide range of styles – from sporty to feminine, casual to business. The sewing magazine offers patterns for women’s fashion in sizes 34 to 54, children and baby designs, ‘mini & me’ as well as men’s patterns – in other words, self-sewn fashion for the whole family. The magazine also features styling tips as well as practical and technical information.

Fashion Style is the German edition of the Dutch title KNIPmode which is licensed by the publishing house New Skool Media. Previously, the license for Germany was held by OZ-Verlag in Rheinfelden. From April onwards, the publishing house Aenne Burda publishes the Fashion Style, while the production is carried out by the sister companies BurdaNordic from Denmark and Editions DIPA from Strasbourg.
