DLD announces a new conference: "DLD Capital Nature" will bring together experts from business, science, and technology on September 12 and 13 in Munich.
"Reality Rules!?": The motto of Burda's innovation conference DLD Munich could not be more fitting in the present time. After cancelling the event – originally planned for January – due to the pandemic, DLD Managing Director Steffi Czerny now invites to Munich in spring, from May 20th until May 22nd.
How will we work, feed, and inform ourselves in the long term? How can technology in medicine drive the next revolution? How important will cybersecurity become in a world where more and more companies are affected by hacking attacks? What does the metaverse mean for the reality in which people will live? And how can new technologies be used as catalysts for climate protection? With its usual optimism, DLD invites international experts to take a look at the upcoming technological, economic, social and environmental changes.
"We live in a world that constantly changes – not only due to the pandemic. Whether technology, politics, society, or climate – change ensures that we are continuously facing a new reality. That's why it's even more important to address the opportunities and challenges and to recognize the new realities shaped by disruptive technologies, the so-called frontier technologies. To understand their far-reaching impact, we need a new "enlightenment" at all levels of society. This is exactly what the upcoming DLD Munich will be about, and I am very happy to finally welcome the international DLD community back to Munich!"
