As Germany’s largest media company for fashion and entertainment, BurdaStyle bundles the luxury and premium titles InstyleHarper’s BazaarElleBunte, and Freundin. Every January during the Berlin Fashion Week, BurdaStyle hosts an array of events bringing together people from the industry.

Opening Party

The week started with the Bunte New Faces Night on Monday where some 400 celebrities, designers, influencers, fashion entrepreneurs and young talents headed for the Hotel Oderberger for a party night to remember. Bunte editor-in-chief Robert Pölzer about the event: “The New Faces Night has become an integral part of Berlin Fashion Week and is one of the party highlights of the whole week. This is where fashionistas meet fashion designers and celebrities meet new faces. The New Faces Night is not only an exclusive fashion party but also an important networking platform for the fashion industry.” With its New Faces event series, Bunte has created a unique network that bring its brand to life and connects with partners and clients.

Fashion Hotspot

Next on the Burda Berlin Fashion Week schedule was the fashion and lifestyle platform Instyle Lounge on Wednesday and Thursday. More than 800 fashionistas, influencers, designers, stars from the catwalk to the silver screen, brand partners and trendsetters found their way to the Cafe Moskau over the course of two days. For the sixth time during Berlin Fashion Week, the Instyle Lounge presented new trend products from 25 top brands. The guests got the chance to mix their own scented oils, personalize bracelets and bags, and find out about the latest trends. “We have created a fashion platform that connects influencers and celebrities with brand partners, journalists and buyers. At our Instyle Lounge, you get fashion inspiration and important first-hand contacts, making the lounge highly attractive for both brands and guests,” says Elfi Langefeld, Managing Director at BurdaStyle Luxury.

Rounding up Fashion Week

BurdaStyle Executive Director Manuela Kampp-Wirtz, Elfi Langefeld (BurdaStyle Luxury) and editors-in-chief of Elle, Instyle and Harper’s Bazaar, invited to the We are Fashion Lunch closing off Burda’s activities at Berlin Fashion week. Around 140 of the most important representatives of the fashion industry, designers and celebrities followed the invitation to talk about trends and current developments in the fashion industry. “With the We are Fashion Lunch we bring together the most important personalities of the fashion industry. We also take the opportunity to update guests on BurdaStyle’s numerous activities and take them on a journey through the past business year,” says Manuela Kampp-Wirtz about the lunch.
