In July the second round of the Burda Digital Degree was celebrated. CEO Katharina Herrmann and Marc Al-Hames presented the graduates with their well-deserved certificates and a toast was raised together.
At the start of 2017, Burda successfully completed the Corporate Health Audit, which tests the structure, strategy and services of a company’s operational health management. Companies with an exemplary focus on employee health receive “Corporate Health Company” certification.
“We are delighted to have been awarded the certificate; over the last few years, we have developed and optimised our TAKE CARE operational health management scheme. Healthy working conditions benefit employees and employers alike. The certification shows that we are on the right track”,
says HR director Christoph Diebenbusch.
The audit looked at Burda’s health promotion measures, occupational healthcare, raising employee awareness of health issues, prevention services and much more.
Over 350 German companies have been awarded the Corporate Health certificate. Its initiators – EuPD Research Sustainable Management, Handelsblatt and the ias Group – also work together to present the annual Corporate Health Award to Germany’s healthiest company.
