The Burda DNA in one film

What makes Burda different? What do we stand for? What are our shared values? The answer is the 'Burda Purpose', which paves the way for what the company and the employees want to achieve together – as one community. For over half a year, different perspectives, ideas and opinions were collected across the entire company. And it was these three values which were mentioned time and again: Diversity, Responsibility and Entrepreneurship.

“The Purpose is important for our employees because the Group is large and pretty colourful. It is important to be able to understand quickly, what belongs together and what we want to achieve together. This creates clarity and gives orientation."

Katharina Herrmann, Executive Board Member

Burda in four minutes – created by C3

Burda's shared corporate values have been lived for a long time, but now they have been captured on film for the first time. C3's in-house creative and film experts created a four-minute video, presenting different perspectives and showing how important this mission statement for Burda employees is.

"The protagonists give a voice to three values. Our whole team was fascinated during the production as to how diverse the people at Burda are and how exciting their stories are.”

Peter Kasza, Executive Director Motion at C3

The video filmed in the making-of style, was an amalgamation of interviews with nine 'Burda people' from a wide variety of divisions from throughout the whole Burda Group. The colourful mix of different people from different departments and locations shows: Every day, employees demonstrate the core values of the Burda DNA in everything they do.
