What makes your office unique?
Our office hosts the Burda Academy, a sewing school which regularly delights Russian needlework enthusiasts, thanks to an unparalleled creative atmosphere and high education standards. This has become a creative space for hundreds of people for whom Burda was their guide into the world of sewing. And there’s also an interactive space for employee and client meetings, and smaller events.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of working in Moscow?
Moscow is a cultural and business hotspot where you can meet interesting people from all around the globe. Our city hosts some of Europe’s biggest Internet companies such as Yandex and Mail.ru Group, along with Russian social media networks Ok.ru and Vk.com, and many startups - it is the Russian Silicon Valley.
What’s your favourite spot to relax after work?
There are many parks worth visiting, like Gorky Park and Zaradye Park in the heart of Moscow city. And of course there are many restaurants and bars distributed across Moscow. It all depends on your tastes, and on the depth of your pockets!
