With its latest issue in Germany, Burda Style is putting even greater focus on the topic sustainability with support of blogger Marie Nasemann, and at the same time launching a new sustainability column.
Handcrafting is a universal language that is popular beyond national borders. The same applies to Burda’s successful heritage brand Burda Style: The sewing and fashion magazine has a large international readership offering issues in 16 different languages. Now, the handicraft brand is further driving its internationalization by adding a new publication in Serbian to its portfolio. The new licensed edition will be published in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina from January 29, 2021, onwards.
The first issue licensed by Color Media International will be published with a circulation of around 8,000 copies. To date, Burda Style has already built up a loyal sewing community in the Serbian market with its German version of the magazine that has been published with translated instructions. The launch of the monthly sewing magazine completely in Serbian is accompanied by a TV commercial.
„We are very pleased that – with our Serbian issue – we have launched another international version of Burda Style. We were able to build up a loyal readership in Serbia with the German edition over the past years and are therefore convinced that the new magazine will celebrate even greater success in the future. Our licensing partner Color Media International was very keen to add our brand to its international portfolio proving that the brand Burda Style and its concept are in great demand .”
