At its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday (June 24, 2025), New Work SE announced several important changes:

Petra von Strombeck hands over her position to Henning Rönneberg as planned

As announced on May 13, 2025, Petra von Strombeck has handed over her CEO position to Henning Rönneberg. Rönneberg, who joined the Executive Board as CFO & COO in March of this year, will now lead the company as CEO and sole executive board member.

Maximilian Preisser becomes new Chairman of the Supervisory Board

As part of the restructuring of New Work SE, the Supervisory Board has been reduced from six to three members. Independent board members Anette Weber, Jörg Lübcke, and Johannes Meier are stepping down, as is Katharina Herrmann following her departure from the Executive Board of Hubert Burda Media. Maximilian Preisser, General Counsel at Hubert Burda Media, has been appointed to the Supervisory Board and elected as its new Chairman. He succeeds Tom Bureau, who remains on the board alongside Jean Paul Schmetz.

Burda now holds 100% of the shares

With the resolution passed, the squeeze-out request submitted by majority shareholder Burda Digital SE has been approved. Once registered in the commercial register, the squeeze-out process will be completed, making New Work SE a wholly owned subsidiary of Burda.
