Munich, September 29, 2026 – DLD is returning to Singapore for the third time, bringing a 200-strong international delegation with it. Together with Caixin, China’s leading media group, DLD is hosting the Asia New Vision Forum Innovation 2026, which will take place from September 28 to 30, 2026, at Raffles Sentosa Singapore. The forum takes on added regional significance as Singapore prepares to assume the ASEAN chairmanship in 2027. Discussions will focus on the key questions shaping Asia’s next phase of innovation and growth: the global race for chips and computing capacity; the practical infrastructure constraints on expanding artificial intelligence; Asia’s changing investment landscape; and the growing importance of cybersecurity in the age of AI. Speakers will also explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the industrial core—from manufacturing and supply chains to strategic infrastructure – and why secure energy flows are becoming essential to the region’s digital and industrial future.
Speakers include Grace Fu, Singapore’s Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations; Heng Swee Keat, Chairman of Singapore’s National Research Foundation and former Deputy Prime Minister; Dominic Barton, Chairman of Rio Tinto and LeapFrog Investments; Gita Wirjawan, former Indonesian Minister of Trade and host of the Endgame podcast; and Amiram Appelbaum, former Chairman of the Israel Innovation Authority.
The forum will also feature perspectives from science, technology and entrepreneurship. Guests include Yao Ming, Chairman of the YAO Foundation; Andy Lee, Vice President of International Business and General Manager for Southeast Asia at Alibaba Cloud; Michal Kosinski, Professor of Management and Strategy at the University of Hong Kong; Matthew Chang, Professor at the National University of Singapore and Executive Director of the National Centre for Engineering Biology; and Gene Yu, Founder and CEO of Blackpanda.
“We are returning to Singapore for the third time because the city is a key place where technological dynamism, entrepreneurial energy and social diversity come together. Our previous conferences have shown how important it is not to view Southeast Asia as a single, uniform market. The region is shaped by different cultures, markets and rates of innovation. That very diversity makes Singapore an ideal starting point for conversations about the future of Asia and beyond.”
Steffi Czerny, Founder and Co-CEO of DLD Conference.
“DLD is about going where the future is taking shape and forging new connections there. Together with our strong partner Caixin, we are delighted to give the DLD community first-hand insights into Asia’s dynamic innovation and entrepreneurial landscape. Engaging with the people shaping that future opens up new perspectives and builds relationships that last well beyond the forum. These personal, international connections are at the heart of what makes DLD strong.”
Alessia Sinzger, Co-CEO of DLD
