The September issue of German Harper’s Bazaar is published today with Rihanna as the cover model. Her front cover and extensive fashion shoot can be seen in all 26 international editions of Harper’s Bazaar.
Donna, the magazine for women over the age of 40, has significantly enhanced its digital appearance. The editorial blog with an added shop has been turned into a comprehensive portal.
“The new digital version is very feminine and visually powerful. The clear layout foregrounds the high-quality content, but also the advertising partners. In terms of technology, we mainly focused on responsive web design and we are very pleased to include another BurdaStyle platform in the Thunder community.”
Mary Marxmüller, responsible product manager
The digital version of Donna combines the magazine’s sophisticated stance with inspiring how-to content, while remaining faithful to its relaxed and life-affirming attitude. The clear and understated layout also conveys this. Chief editor Sandra Djajadisastra and her editorial team are responsible for all content in the fashion, beauty, life & love, discovering and health sections.
“Donna’s readers are extremely faithful to the brand. As with all other BurdaStyle portals, we place great emphasis on maintaining a consistent brand identity on the net despite special requirements on digital storytelling. We therefore rely on developing our reach organically and sustainably. In marketing, we clearly focus on individualised and tailor-made services.”
