C3, Europe’s leading service provider for content marketing, is to have a CEO for the first time: Adel Gelbert will be in charge of the international agency group from 1 September 2017.
C3, Europe’s leading content marketing agency, is continuing its process of internationalisation. This time, it is heading Down Under for a collaboration with Edge, one of the leading content marketing agencies in the Asia/Pacific region. Edge employs approximately 50 people in Sydney and Melbourne and produces creative content marketing solutions for around 25 clients. C3 and Edge have been in contact for quite some time through their joint client, Volkswagen. By driving these global collaborations, C3 aims to serve international clients from a single source.
The perfect fit
“We have been following Edge’s success for years and already work closely on shared clients such as Volkswagen. Our services complement each other perfectly. There is great demand from international clients who want to roll out their content campaigns in the Asia/Pacific region too.”
Gregor Vogelsang, managing director of C3
Set for internationalisation
C3 has been targeting internationalisation for two years now, and is constructing a global content marketing agency: This year alone, it has expanded into London and Slovenia by acquiring two companies, Seven and PM. This was followed by collaborations with Latin American agency EME and the foundation of the global content marketing network “MXM//C3” with Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM), the American market leader. C3 will now enter into a strategic partnership with Edge. It will not be investing any equity for the moment.
