More than 300 guests joined DLD founder Steffi Czerny, DLD Chairman Yossi Vardi, and Burda CEO Martin Weiss at the Burda DLD Nightcap, in Davos on January 17 where the World Economic Forum (WEF) is taking place. Burda Board Members Katharina Herrmann and Marc Al-Hames also welcomed the guests in person at the Steigenberger Belvédère Hotel.
Influential guests from around the world gathered in Davos for the Burda DLD Nightcap, which took place three days after DLD Munich 23. The conference was held in Munich from January 12 – 14. Renowned guests at the Burda DLD Nightcap included: Jörg Kukies (State Secretary, Federal Chancellery), Jeffrey Rosen (Managing Director, Lazard), Hildegard Wortmann (Member of the Board of Management, Audi), Carsten Knobel (CEO, Henkel), Jim Breyer (Founder and Managing Director, Breyer Capital), Jennifer Morgan (State Secretary, Foreign Office), Jim Hagemann Snabe (Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Siemens), Alexander Rinke (Co-Founder, Celonis), Richard Edelman (CEO, Edelman), and many more.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is back to its traditional date in January, as before the pandemic, following two cancellations, one virtual forum and a postponement in 2022 to Spring. Hubert Burda Media also revived its traditional event, the Burda DLD Nightcap, in Davos, Switzerland in January.
The band Tegernseer Tanzlmusi provided the evening's background music. Cocktails were served by London-based LiquidChefs.
