It’s not every day that the pitch at the Eintracht stadium is extended and completely resurfaced – Germany welcomes the NFL from the USA to Frankfurt!
Last Sunday, Frankfurt experienced a historic moment when the second Regular Season Game of the National Football League (NFL) was played on German ground. In the midst of this football spectacle: Cyberport, Burda’s consumer electronics retailer, which has been the official Lead Entertainment Partner of the NFL in Germany since the 2022/2023 season. As Presenting Partner, Cyberport presented the Halftime Show with German artists Nico Santos and Kontra K. The coveted tickets for the eagerly awaited match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins were sold out within minutes – just like last year in Munich. More than 50,000 fans, united by their passion for the game, created an unforgettable atmosphere in the stadium. And just like in Munich, the crowd in Frankfurt sang along to the classics "Sweet Caroline" and "Take Me Home, Country Roads", holding their mobile phone lights in their hands – proving once again that football unites people across borders.
"We never thought that the atmosphere at the first NFL game in Munich could be surpassed, but on Sunday we were proven wrong. The enthusiasm and energy of the fans was simply overwhelming. The Halftime Show presented by Cyberport was a historic moment, and a first of its kind in Germany. We are very proud that Cyberport, as Presenting Partner, was able to bring this extraordinary combination of artists to the stage. We are thrilled to be part of this fascinating sports community and look forward to many more unforgettable moments in the world of American football!"

As the official Lead Entertainment Partner, Cyberport is working with the NFL to enhance the entertainment value of the game and provide fans with an even more memorable experience both in the stadium and at home. This commitment was already evident the day before the big game when Cyberport and the NFL were present at various locations in Frankfurt. At the Cyberport Pregame Show Truck at Taunustor, for example, fans had the chance to win the last coveted tickets, have their photo taken in the style of a football star and get in the mood for the game with drinks and music. The NFL Experience Frankfurt took place in the city center around Roßmarkt and Hauptwache, including the Cyberport Quarterback Challenge, where fans could put their football skills to the test – a tradition that began in Munich last year.
On the day of the match itself, Cyberport eye blacks were given to fans outside and inside the stadium. These are stripes that football players wear under their eyes to reduce glare. Fans who posted their selfies wearing the eye blacks using the hashtag #CyberportDE had the chance to appear on the big video screens in the stadium.
Cyberport will also be Lead Entertainment Partner for the NFL Frankfurt Game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots next Sunday, November 12. Another Cyberport NFL highlight will be the official Super Bowl party in Germany on February 11, 2024. Munich will host the next NFL game in Germany in the autumn of 2024 before Frankfurt welcomes the world of American football again in 2025. The football fever curve is really gaining momentum – and Cyberport is proud to accompany this passionate journey and continue to provide unforgettable moments.
