Four Young Talents Start Programme Around the World

None

Eigtheen months, seven rotations, one mentor, and a 360-degree insight: That sums up the new Burda More International Trainee Programme that was scheduled to start in January 2021 but had to be postponed due to Covid. Now it has finally taken off and is supporting four talented graduates on their way to becoming leaders in fascinating media and technology segments – and helping them build a worldwide network of peers while driving core strategic initiatives in international markets.

“Through the More Trainee Programme, we can strengthen the co-operation between our companies worldwide. At the same time, we support our countries in their succession planning for management positions and promote local talent. We are very excited about the trainee programme entering its first year. It will surely be an exciting time for the four trainees.”

Petra Hausmann, Head of Organisational and Personnel Development at Hubert Burda Media

Talents from Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Thailand and France

On January 17, 2022, the four trainees begin their Burda journeys in their home countries – at Immediate Media (UK), BurdaInternational CZ (Czech Republic), BurdaLuxury (Thailand), and BurdaBleu (France). After 2.5 months, they will come to BurdaInternational’s HQ in Munich, Germany, where they will learn about the company’s history and international vision. During the upcoming 18 months, the trainees will undergo seven rotations between their home countries and three global hosts (including Germany). These international rotations will empower the trainees to appreciate different work cultures and lifestyles. Alongside seminars and individual coaching, the trainees will receive personal supervision and mentoring from local executives.

Further information about the Burda More International Trainee Programme can be found here.

Burda already offers three trainee programmes in Germany: the Management Trainee Program for Master’s graduates and the Young Financial Leaders Program as well as the Bachelor Trainee Program for young talents with a Bachelor’s degree.
