The current September issue of Harper's Bazaar is dedicated nationally and internationally to the cover topic "Icons under 30" and portrays young, strong characters who impress with their resumes.
Milan Fashion Week is in full swing. Kerstin Schneider, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar, reports from the front row of all the major shows with the trends and looks we will all be wearing over the next year.
She takes photos and films on her smartphone, posts images on the official Harper’s Bazaar Instagram account, takes us behind the scenes of the shows and provides insights that most of us will rarely get to see.

14:30: Gucci, a “wonderful phantasmagoria”
Alessandro Michele for Gucci presented an imaginative, Hollywood-inspired blend of Dynasty meets Ziggy Stardust meets “Little House on the Prairie”. The shoes were high, decorated with pearls and rich embroidery; the models adorned their faces with large motif earrings, their hands with layers of rhinestone rings.
A wonderful phantasmagoria.
16:30: Alberta Ferretti, “ruching and flounces”
Ruching and flounces are already an emerging trend. Alberta Ferretti prepared for next summer by heading to the prairie. Gaucho bags and belts with engraved silver buckles contrasted with soft romanticism.
In a particularly charming touch, the tailors formed a guard of honour at the start of the show.
