Working at Burda means being creative, thinking like a businessperson, pursuing a successful career and taking risks… Simply put, it means going strong. In this video series, we introduce employees who have set themselves apart with remarkable career paths and ideas. Burda has seen many great innovations, projects and brands born from entrepreneurial spirit, ambition and productivity. And now these people and their ideas have their own dedicated platform.
The series kicks off with Luisa Frank, Investment Manager at Burda Principal Investments, where she focuses on food tech, cybersecurity and sustainability. Luisa got her first taste of the Burda experience as a student. During her Master’s in Management (specialising in supply chains) she spent some time at BurdaProcurement. After successfully completing the Burda Management Trainee Program, which allowed her to explore various fields (sales, publishing, e-commerce, VC, start-ups, HR development), she really got off to a strong start at Burda Principal Investments. She joined the company as an Investor and was soon promoted to Investment Manager. She has helped to close various important deals and mentors ambitious young women through the FeMentor and Female Founders networks.
In the video, Luisa reveals what her job has to do with a lion, her goal for this year and the project that makes her particularly proud.
