With the aim to be “a new force in consumer media and publishing”, Immediate Media was founded on 1st November 2011, and has established itself as the biggest magazine media publisher in the UK ten years later. The company, which has been part of Hubert Burda Media since 2017, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in a very special way.

Looking back at 10 years of Immediate Media

Over the last ten years, Immediate Media has almost trebled its reach, now engaging around 60 million people every month. The company not only publishes some of the UK's most popular titles, such as the leading TV magazine Radio Times, but has also expanded its offerings in recent years to include live and digital events and partnerships with the likes of the BBC, Lego and Disney.

Celebrating the past decade

In normal times, the Immediate colleagues would come together to celebrate their tenth birthday, which is not possible due to the current situation. To still recognise the anniversary, Immediate has partnered with the Woodland Trust, the largest woodland conservation charity in the UK, to donate £10,000 to their Emergency Tree Fund which will fund the plantation of over 1,400 trees. As an additional way to mark its continued growth, Immediate is sponsoring a dedicated grove in Leicestershire that contains around 750 native trees, as well as an abundance of plants, flowers, and wildlife. Sustainability is a key topic for Immediate who aims to become carbon-neutral by 2030.
