There’s a new face at B.famous, Burda’s creative studio: Luke Lewandowski, 36, has recently been appointed Creative Director. He comes to B.famous from Rapid Peaks, the Munich sports marketing agency, where he oversaw the development of holistic concepts and campaigns for clients such as SAP (in collaboration with Manchester City, FC Bayern and DFB), WWF and Orizon.
Lewandowski is an expert in brand communication and cross-media storytelling. He previously worked for Territory Webguerillas in Munich, where he gained experience in designing and implementing digital and social media campaigns. He then moved to Häberlein & Mauerer in Munich as Consultant Digital Communications for Sony Xperia, soon discovering his passion for content production. He helped to set up – and managed – the “Creative Services” in-house unit, looking after a wide range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle clients. As Creative Director, he developed integrated content concepts and managed brand and product launches. His clients included John Frieda, Google and Nespresso.
B.famous content studios is the creative in-house agency of BCN, Burda’s marketing company, which unites commercial and editorial content expertise. Its pledge – “creative, culture, content” – encompasses customised communication solutions for clients and agencies, from campaigning within media brands, to creating classic campaigns, to developing and implementing editorial content.
“We are delighted that B.famous has increased its sales and earnings for the third year running. We will continue to strategically build and expand the agency.”
Michael Samak, BCN managing director
“These days, people listen to brands that position themselves authentically in all forms of media. We believe that every brand has the potential to create cultures. And we help companies to embody current, socially significant topics so that they can achieve long-lasting commercial success.”
Christine Fehenberger, B.famous content studios managing director
