The new Instyle Sport has been on newsstands since the beginning of April. But there is still a lot to do before you can hold the magazine in your hands: We talked to our colleagues from BurdaVerlag.
Lynn Schmidt has been announced as the new fashion director of German Instyle. The Hamburg native took up her new role on December 1, 2022. Schmidt has most recently worked as a freelance stylist for various luxury brands such as Hermès, Boss and Aigner and for magazines such as Esquire, FAZ Magazin and Tush. Prior to that she was fashion editor at Vogue from 2006 to 2013 and had stints at Jil Sander, Glamour and GQ. She also served as fashion director for the launch issue of Germany's Harper's Bazaar in 2013.
"We are delighted that Lynn Schmidt will be heading Instyle's fashion in the future. Not only does she have years of experience as a stylist and in fashion editing, but she has an excellent network in the fashion industry, from PR agencies and designers to international top photographers and celebrities. With her unerring sense of style and flair for trends, she is the perfect fit as Instyle's new Fashion Director."
