Teaser: A small trip around the world with BurdaInternational: This month, our focus lies on the Burda Media India team which held a special offsite, and a Platinum Jubilee issue by the magazine Radio Times.
Tom Bureau, CEO of BurdaInternational, which bundles the worldwide activities of media and tech company Hubert Burda Media, has appointed three new roles with immediate effect to enhance the specialist knowledge and expertise in his Leadership Team. All three appointees are currently with Immediate Media Co, the UK based special interest content and platform company, which was co-founded by Tom Bureau and acquired by Hubert Burda Media in 2017.
In addition to Marie Stephan (CFO) and Martin Weese (COO), Toby Hoon, who is currently Chief Information Officer at Immediate Media Co, will be taking up the role of Chief Technology Officer for BurdaInternational. He is an experienced CTO and technology leader, across many international settings. Hoon will advise on tech strategy and platforms across many of the businesses in BurdaInternational.
Duncan Tickell and Jo Brandl will join the BurdaInternational Leadership Team to work with the group on an advisory basis. Duncan Tickell, who is Chief Revenue Officer at Immediate Media Co, has a wealth of experience across multi-platform advertising, direct to consumer models, subscriptions and e-commerce. Jo Brandl is the Group HR Director for Immediate Media Co and will act as an advisor on strategic HR, leadership, learning and development and cultural projects.
