Next Stop: Munich!

None

London, New York, San Francisco – like every year, the DLD team toured the world with the so-called DLD Salons between the major conferences (this year: Munich, New York, Bayreuth, Brussels, Tel Aviv, Berlin). The aim of these networking events is to maintain the international DLD network and establish new contacts to exciting speakers. In addition to London in October, the team led by founder Steffi Czerny went to the USA with stops in New York and San Francisco last week. From 20 to 22 January, the digital elite will be once again gathering at Burda's flagship conference DLD Munich 2018 for the 14th time already.

From New York to San Francisco

The DLD Salons were well attended: around 200 invited guests met for breakfast in New York. After an intro by DLD founder Steffi Czerny and DLD chairman Yossi Vardi, the latest topics of the tech and start-up scene were discussed intensively. Despite pouring rain in San Francisco, 90 guests followed the invitation of the DLD team including former Bill Clinton consultant and heart specialist Dean Ornish, lawyer Gary Reback, Google Vice President Product Bradley Horowitz and photographer Rick Smolan. The DLD Female Leadership Lunch the following day was ideal for strengthening DLD's worldwide women's network.

#DLD18: Save the Date

From 20 to 22 January 2018, Europe's most successful innovation conference will bring together the most influential opinion leaders, artists, start-ups and digital giants in Munich. More than 150 speakers and around 1,000 participants are expected at DLD Munich in the Alte Bayerische Staatsbank in the inner city of Munich.

This year, the conference will be opened with a keynote speech in the Literaturhaus München on the evening of January 20th. During a subsequent welcome with drinks and finger food, guests can prepare themselves for the upcoming packed conference days. Top speakers such as Robert Kyncl, Chief Business Officer at Youtube, Otto CEO Alexander Birken or well-known investors such as Albert Wenger and Frank Thelen are expected to attend the 14th DLD conference in Munich.

DLD Munich event dates:

When: 20–22 January 2018

Where: Alte Bayerische Staatsbank, Prannerstr. 2, 80333 Munich
