Currently, trainees can choose from the following locations:

Hello from Singapore!

Josephine recently began a special chapter of her Management Traineeship at Burda: her international rotation in Singapore! For three months, she’s supporting the team at Burda Principal Investments (BPI) – diving not only into a completely new life and work culture, but also deep into the world of venture capital.

As part of the Investor Relations team, Josephine is involved in analyzing and evaluating internal risk management processes. In her very first week, she attended an exciting meeting: a startup in the field of quantum sensing presented its innovative ideas.

"I'm super excited to learn everything I can about venture capital. It's fascinating to get to know BPI’s investment strategy and understand how decisions are made when it comes to investing in startups or funds,"

Outside the office, Josephine is also collecting unforgettable impressions: during lunch breaks, her colleagues show her the best food spots and local specialties, while weekends are for exploring Singapore's surroundings – from bike rides through East Coast Park to ferry trips to the Indonesian island of Bintan. A custom-made to-do list with team recommendations ensures she doesn’t miss a single highlight.
