Once a year, DLD and Focus invite influential people to Davos for the social highlight of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and a glamorous conclusion to the DLD conference in Munich: The DLD Focus Nightcap.
International business leaders, politicians, investors, artists and media makers headed to the Belvédère Hotel on Tuesday evening to be greeted by Burda board members Paul-Bernhard Kallen and Philipp Welte, DLD managing directors Steffi Czerny and Dominik Wichmann, and Focus editor-in-chief Robert Schneider.
Prominent guests included EU Commissioner Guenther Oettinger, Philipp Roesler (former German Minister of Economics and WEF board member), Nadja Swarovski, music producer will.i.am, Nikolaus von Bomhard (CEO of Munich Re), US doctor David Agus, Indian entrepreneur Lakshmi Mittal, Paul Achleitner (chairman of the Deutsche Bank supervisory board), Mathias Doepfner (CEO of Axel Springer) and “Bild” publisher Kai Diekmann.
Around 600 guests enjoyed Bavarian brass music from “Tegernseer Tanzlmusi” (a band from Kreuth), finger food and cocktails from London’s “LiquidChefs”.
