Philipp Wolff leaves Hubert Burda Media

Philipp Wolff, Director Communication at Hubert Burda Media since 2013, is leaving the company in a friendly manner and at his own request by the end of 2023.

He is responsible for all communications activities of Hubert Burda Media, as well as brand and international communications. Philipp Wolff is also responsible for Creative Services, which produces external and internal events and advertising materials. Corporate Branding and Operations, (in charge of the strategic development of internal and external corporate channels), were added in 2023. Philipp Wolff leads a total of five department heads. He personally looks after strategy, internal and external stakeholder management, executive communications and the Board of Directors.

Commenting on why he decided to leave, Philipp Wolff said:

"I have been able to shape and develop Burda's corporate communications for a whole decade. Burda is a company with a great courage for change. This attitude has always fascinated me, it made our communications tasks exciting every day and challenged us time and again. After ten years, it's time for me to open a new chapter in my life and turn to new projects."

Philipp Wolff reports to Philipp Welte, the member of the Burda Executive Board responsible for Communications. Philipp Welte pays tribute to his director of communications:

"On behalf of the Executive Board, I would like to thank Philipp for everything he has done for our Group over the past ten years. Burda has changed fundamentally during this time, and Philipp has al- ways managed to accompany these processes with the right communications measures and a great deal of sensitivity. Hubert Burda Media is a modern, forward-looking company, and the fact that people perceive this so clearly is also due to the achievements of Philipp and his team. We very much regret his decision to leave us at the end of the year. We wish him all the best for the future."
