More than 60 computer scientists, software developers, engineers and business economists built different business models around the blockchain technology at the Blackforest Hackathon for a whole weekend.
What do an astrophysicist, an economic geographer, an economist and a microbiologist have in common? They all work for Valiton's Business Performance team and are experts in data science. “The interdisciplinary nature of our team is a great strength. We all come from different academic backgrounds, but have a joint passion for numbers and data in general,” says Christian Just, Head of Business Performance.

At Valiton, around 40 developers, project managers and Scrum Masters in Munich and Offenburg work on data science, data engineering, business performance analytics, software development, machine learning and the development and operation of e-commerce platforms.
