Leading visionaries from the digital, business and creative worlds will gather for DLD Munich 26 at the House of Communication in Munich from 15 to 17 January 2026 under the motto ‘It’s gonna be wild’.
What do an astrophysicist, an economic geographer, an economist and a microbiologist have in common? They all work for Valiton's Business Performance team and are experts in data science. “The interdisciplinary nature of our team is a great strength. We all come from different academic backgrounds, but have a joint passion for numbers and data in general,” says Christian Just, Head of Business Performance.

At Valiton, around 40 developers, project managers and Scrum Masters in Munich and Offenburg work on data science, data engineering, business performance analytics, software development, machine learning and the development and operation of e-commerce platforms.
