Supporting women through art

None

The April issue of Instyle gives readers the opportunity to support women by buying art at auction. The fashion magazine features 21 upcoming female artists, including Cigdem Aky, Annique Delphine, Toulu Hassani, Kristin Kossi, Li-Wen Kuo and Oskar Rink. A piece by each artist will be auctioned on 28 March on Givergy.com.

Auction in aid of “Women for Women”

The auction will be held by Women for Women International, which advocates for women’s rights. All proceeds will go to a project in Rwanda, where Women for Women offers training, workshops and specialised vocational education to broaden women’s career prospects.

Insta-talk with Kerstin Weng and Brita Fernandez-Schmidt

The campaign kicks off with an Instagram chat. Kerstin Weng, editor-in-chief of Instyle, will be joined by Brita Fernandez-Schmidt, executive director of Women for Women International, to discuss the organisation and their campaign plans.

In the coming weeks, Instyle’s editorial team will introduce the artists and the artworks to be auctioned via the magazine’s Instagram channel @instylegermany and instyle.de/kunstvonfrauenfuerfrauen.
