What makes Burda a good employer? What kinds of talents is Burda looking for? And what does the company offer its employees? In this video, Stefan Winners, Member of the Executive Board – Digital at Hubert Burda Media, discusses these questions.
Burda encompasses many things – over 550 print and digital consumer media, platforms such as Xing and Jameda, and in-house technological developments such as the search engine Cliqz and the open-source software Thunder.
“For me Burda is a unique company, with its wide variety of brands and truly exciting tasks in every single department”, says Stefan Winners. “In addition to extremely interesting work, we offer our employees a high degree of freedom and flexibility (this also goes for working hours), a positive working environment and the opportunity for further growth.”
Team work, freedom and a positive spirit
To further develop existing products and platforms, to drive innovations and shape the digital transformation of the media world, Burda is looking for developers, digital product managers, UX designers and data specialists, particularly in the technical environment. “For us it is important that our employees work together in agile teams, that they have the freedom to try out new things and that we make sure they continue their training to ensure the products and platforms we build are always state-of-the-art”, Winners explains.
“We are looking for people who like to create, who want to move things forward, who enjoy teamwork and have a positive attitude”, he concludes.
