The new Instyle Sport has been on newsstands since the beginning of April. But there is still a lot to do before you can hold the magazine in your hands: We talked to our colleagues from BurdaVerlag.
Manuela Kampp-Wirtz, CPO at BurdaVerlag, was voted one of the 25 most powerful women in the German media landscape by specialist medium "Kress magazine". Here she reveals what advice has personally helped her and what she advises women to do.
"One piece of advice I received and took to heart myself at the beginning of my career. Everyone has to develop a style that suits them. And for women that should mean: stay feminine, stay authentic - in your leadership style, in the way you appear and yes, also in the way you dress. Women's strength is often their empathy. One of the most important qualities to lead successfully."
"What's important beyond that is that women should set clear goals about what they want to achieve professionally and pursue those goals consistently." Furthermore, it is important to "remain open, inquisitive and communicative," says Kampp-Wirtz.
"I am convinced that the more diverse a company is, the more successful it is. I practise this in my own field: the proportion of women is 72 percent and more than half of the managers are female."
