It is not just her success that stands out, but also the fact that she achieved it at such a young age: in January 2013, the then 15-year-old released her debut album. The first song, 'Uncover', reached number one in the Swedish and Norwegian charts. In 2015, the hit single "Lush Life" brought her international breakthrough - at the age of 18. In 2016, the 19-year-old was named one of the 30 most influential teenagers by TIME magazine. Zara Larsson has repeatedly stood up for the rights of the queer community. Her music video for "Symphony" tells the love story of two black gay men. The video has been viewed over a billion times.
To mark its 75th anniversary, Hubert Burda Media is bringing BAMBI back after Germany's most important media award had to be suspended three times due to corona and crises. Since 1948, the BAMBI has honoured personalities who have had a special impact on Germany, who have achieved outstanding things and who are role models for the people of Germany.
