Since 2023, Burda has been supporting local projects in regenerative agriculture – aiming to actively help shape ecological transformation.

Why Regenerative Agriculture?

We see the environment as a holistic system and understand sustainable agriculture as key to combating climate change, biodiversity loss and soil degradation. Soil cultivation improves soil quality, builds humus, boosts biodiversity, preserves species richness, safeguards water cycles and strengthens soils against extreme weather.

In addition to financial support, education is crucial. Burda supports the agritech company Klim, which helps farmers across Germany transition to regenerative practices and rewards them for ecosystem services. The measurable result: 1,250 hectares regenerated per year – equal to 1,750 football pitches.
